Benefit When you lose your opposed trip roll, you may immediately make a balance attempt with a DC equal to your opponent's trip STR check from his trip attempt. If you choose to make the balance attempt, you draw an AoO from anyone besides the person making the trip attempt, for which you are treated as flat footed. If your balance attempt is successful, you keep your balance instead of falling prone.
